Rumbiie Mudzengi
Writer, Public Speaker, and Artist in Perth WA, Australia
I have always been a people person , spent the last 10 years of my career connecting to people through styling and carering however that never felt enough . Through a serendipitous event i was inspired to follow the great words of my friend (she just doesnt know we are friends yet ) Brene Brown and dare greatly !
"You either walk inside your story and own it or you stand outside your story and hustle for your worthiness " Brene Brown says , im of the simple belief that to hold on to our stories that have the power to not only tranform but save lives is a waste of our ability to connect and quite frankly selfish .
I like to think that i dont have a selfish bone in me so i am now a Public Speaker / Motivator , an author of an upcoming book and a Bilingual Mental Health Community Ambassador for Multicutural Features - WA.
When im not trying to save the world i work for Roots Tv an non-for profit organization that mentors / trains at risk youths in media . As the Project Manager my work includes creating films that raise Mental Health awareness , connecting and interviewing community stakeholders and organizations to showcase their work . Im incredibly fortunate to be currently directing and script writing a short film to be showcased at the Mental Health Film Festival through The City of Belmont .
I also run my own two small businesses Anaka Glam (Beauty ) and Sip + Dream Co ( Self Development events production ) . I am the Co - Founder and current chair for Real Talk an organization that creates community Mental Health Info series.
At this point you have figured out that i am a passionate hard working individual who just wants to make the world a better place , i bring real life experiences , self determination with a dash of witty humour to the table.
I look forward to connecting you !
