I have done my masters in Microbial and Food Technology from Punjabi University, Patiala (Punjab, India). Since 2010, I am pursuing my Ph.D. degree from Department of Biotechnology Punjabi University, Patiala with a focus area of prebiotics. My work is related to the isolation of new microbial species for the production of endoinulinase, purification and characterization of endoinulinase and use of this enzyme for the production of fructooligosaccharides (FOSs) from inulin (plant polyfructan).
