Rushi Manche co-founded a blockchain technology company that created the first modular blockchain network, built to integrate performance, liquidity, and composability. In his early twenties, he and his partner left their internships and withdrew from Vanderbilt University to fully dedicate themselves to building this company. Their early efforts led to raising $3.4 million in pre-seed funding from over 25 angel investors and assembling a team of more than 70 individuals.

In 2023, just a year after launching the company, they secured $38 million in a Series A funding round. This achievement reflected strong investor confidence, with participation from leading firms such as Hack VC, Placeholder, Archetype, Maven 11, Robot Ventures, Figment Capital, Nomad Capital, Bankless Ventures, OKX Ventures, dao5, and Aptos Labs. His leadership contributed to the development of a blockchain system that prioritized developer accessibility, security, and seamless interaction across networks.

Rushi Manche focused on resolving longstanding issues in blockchain infrastructure, particularly those related to compatibility and user safety. He believed blockchain programming provided a modern and secure framework for digital systems, particularly in financial and commercial use cases. His platform enabled users to manage assets across various networks with a reduced risk of hacks or operational failures.

The blockchain system adopted a modular structure, dividing key functions into separate, independently managed layers. This setup improved flexibility and scalability. A programming language developed by a major tech company was utilized to implement an advanced Ethereum layer-2 solution, increasing both speed and security.

Before co-founding the company, he worked as a Software Engineer at Aptos Project, where he contributed to the innovative development of smart contracts for decentralized exchanges and cross-chain index funds. He also founded Ensemble, an AI-powered test prep platform that partnered with 53 high schools to offer free learning resources to students.

He gained further experience at UnitedHealth Group, where he migrated multiple APIs to AWS cloud infrastructure, resulting in an 84% reduction in costs. He also modernized outdated systems using newer technologies. As a freelance Full Stack Developer, he redesigned a cloud-based platform’s interface and backend using updated frameworks and AWS tools.
