Christine Rushton

Boston, MA

Writing, editing, performing, and generally studying until my eyes cross; that is the life I live as a college senior working on two bachelor's degrees in journalism and flute performance. Hailing from the rainy land of Covington, a suburb of Seattle, I now call Pullman and Washington State University my second home. I spend my days editing for The Daily Evergreen student newspaper, practicing and teaching flute and piano, and reading every news source I can reach. Check out my articles in The Evergreen and in City Living Seattle!

With a love for culture, I've explored France, Monaco, England, Ireland, Switzerland, and most recently, Cuba. Now, I've thrown myself into the big city and am studying communications and pursuing an internship through Boston University's Summer Study and Internship Program. One day soon I will have a byline in a long-form journalism magazine, but not before I publish a non-fiction novel and start up my own niche magazine. I might just be a little ambitious, but bring on the challenges!
