"Heinz 57” (Idea Guy, Born Salesman, Problem Solver, Relationship Specialist, Entrepreneur, Tech Evangelist & Futurist) Have you ever heard the term "Heinz 57?" No, I'm not talking about the steak sauce, but like the Heinz company, with its slogan "57 Varieties," I'm made up of some fairly interesting parts. The name "Heinz 57" is also sometimes used to describe a dog which is a mix of multiple breeds...now that's more like it! I hope to get to know you, then you'll find out the real reason for the Heinz 57 connotation! I'm a guy whose mind never stops thinking of ways to do things better, faster, smarter, and most importantly, "funner." I know, funner is not a word but it should be! I'm a born sales guy who loves everything about technology, in particular, the future. I have gone to every sales class, seminar, etc. ever offered, from The Telesales Rep College by Art Sobczak (first and still some of the best sales training I ever received as we all sale on the phone, if you don't believe it, try taking my 14 year old son's call sometime!) to Solution Selling (Great training but overkill to the max) and everything in between. I won't bore you with a comprehensive list because I know you don't care anyway. If you want something that truly is beneficial, I recently read a book by the folks at 37signals.com called “Getting Real.” You can actually read it online for free if you like, but for anyone wanting to start a business, especially if your business will be web based, this is a must read.
