Candidate for a B.A. of Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, I am focused on furthering my education in transpersonal psychology and the psychology of religion and spirituality. These fields of study require extensive experience in interpersonal relationships, communication and intercultural competence (which goes farther than just political correctness, into ethical understanding and respect of the cultural traditions of all peoples).
My research goes beyond college curriculum, to independent study. By reaching beyond the traditional confines of higher education institutions, I am able to learn about these subjects from numerous cultural perspectives. With the advent of the computer age, neuroscience has blossomed and turned psychology into a much harder science than ever before. The horizons of fields that were once only subjective, are expanding into the realm of statistically objective science.
In addition to my interests in psychology and interpersonal/cultural relationships, I also enjoy researching ontology, cosmology, physics, metaphysics, astronomy, astrophysics, philosophy, arts & other humanities, ancient history, alternative history and myth.
I enjoy volunteer work and devote most of my time to the fundraiser, Baby Girl Project, which is based in Richmond, Virginia. I am an avid artist, focused in oil painting, charcoal & pencil drawing, photography and graphic design. I am a writer, and author a number of blogs, as well as short stories and novels. I also produce electronic music under the name 'Mr. Cosmos'.
