Multi-disciplined engineer, manager and avid outdoorsman. I spent the first part of my career in civil and environmental engineering. After working on a train derailment and hazardous materials spill in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, I decided to return to graduate school and obtain a Master of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering. After graduating, I spent another two years working as a project engineer for a dam removal project at the BP Milltown Reservoir Superfund Site. In 2007, I became employed as a drilling engineer at ConocoPhillips. In later years, I went on to become the drilling team lead in the San Juan and then the Eagle Ford, Chief Drilling & Completion Engineer for the Gulf Coast Business Unit, and then Completion Performance Engineering Supervisor for the Eagle Ford. In 2015, I moved to Denver, Colorado to become the Drilling & Completion Manager for Fidelity Exploration & Production.
