Ruth Doyle

I am social science researcher and consultant in the area of environmental communications, stakeholder engagement and sustainable consumption. I explore social and technical trends and innovations for sustainable production and consumption and am currently a postdoctoral researcher with Consensus - www.consensus.ie. I am also a Visiting Scholar at UC Berekely, Department of Environmental Science, Policy and Management.

A core aspect of my research involves collaborative visioning processes and ethnographic research to develop business, communications and policy initiatives for sustainable food and water consumption. I am particularly interested in science/art collaborations and creative ways of promoting behaviour change and learning about sustainability issues. I have developed art installations and motion graphics on Consensus's research, and contributed to national environmental awareness campaigns and public consultation processes on policiy and infrastructure development.
