Ruth Kaldor

I’ve spent most of my working career teaching visual art to grades K-12. After 28 years of teaching I’m working hard to spend more time painting in watercolor and oil. Most of my work is figurative. Attending evening figure classes are a great break from the work week and keep my skills honed. I love painting outdoors and have taken classes with Susan Abbott, Lisa Beach, and Jeneanne Lunn. My figurative work comes primarily from Billy Brauer’s drawing classes.

My work is pretty straight forward. I’m always working toward mastering my drawing skills while also interpreting values, keeping my colors clean and saturated. Feel free to contact me at [email protected]
