I am an aspiring food writer/blogger. I come from humble begininngs, and a fantastic family. I enjoy my time at home with my gorgeous fiance, and little dog Wiggles(a small piggy-like creature resembling a cross between a pot-bellied pig, and welsch corgi).

I found my love for the "food-life" while being deployed over seas in the U.S. Navy. I call it the "food-life", because people overseas are characterized so much by the way they eat and enjoy their food.

If I call myself gutsy, it's because I am. I've given up fanastic jobs with great pay, all so I could attend culinary school. I learned great things from amazing chefs while in school. I failed time after time, only to rise from the grease and flour dust a little more knowledgeable every semester. After school, I spent a few torturous years as some kind of sweaty, heavy-drinking, prep-kitchen slave. I found cooking for corporate kitchens nauseating, and working for the dreams of others even worse.

I have great admiration for cooks and chefs in the back of every kitchen, but I'm an ambiitous chap, with my own recipes and ideas to give. I hope to learn and grow into something my future self will thank me for.
