Ralph Westwood

My parents lived in Cental Alberta, where with my sister and brothers wev went to school and started our careers. I married Shirley Bernice Polege in Red Deer when we worked there and raised three children. Early in my career, I worked with children and adults with disabilities for about 20 years in Red Deer and Calgary and then in post-secondary education administration in Edmonton for a similar length of time.

In 1991 Shirley Bernice died and in 1993 Shirley Kabachia and i married to Shirley and together we have four adult children and 10 grandchildren. Currently we we are mostly retired and like focusing much of our attention on activities associated with our family, community, friends and travel.
