An avid researcher for over thirty years, Randy Whited is active in the genealogical community. As part of his role as Director of Development for the Texas State Genealogical Society, Randy is revamping the society’s web presence and its online membership services.

In addition to serving on the Board of Directors of the Federation of Genealogical Societies, Randy chairs its Technology committee and is Program Co-Chair for the FGS 2014 Conference in San Antonio. He is also a columnist for the FGS FORUM, authoring its "Gadget Guy" series.

A data and technology junkie, Randy has over 20 years of experience in information technology and business intelligence. He earned his BA in Natural Science from the University of Texas at Austin with a major in Astronomy.
