Robert William Masters

Robert William Masters founded The Masters Group in 1991 and has coached CEOs and senior executives from Applied Materials, Cisco, Genentech, HP, Intel and others. He also has worked with CEOs of start-ups from early inception, building to an IPO or M&A for early exits at higher returns, and then assisting them to regain stronger revenue and gross margin position. He has acted in a leadership capacity to assist with challenging company mergers. In addition, Robert has been called upon to be interim COO, VP of Engineering, and VP of Human Resources at varies transition points in his client’s business cycles.

He also worked with Joint Venture Silicon Valley, a bottoms up citizen’s movement to revitalize the valley, in the mid – late 90s by interacting with CEOs, Mayors/City Managers/ Supervisors and Superintendents in conjunction with several initiatives. He received an award for his service for leading forty consultants/ facilitators in introducing a venture capital model approach by working with Superintendents, Principals and Educators to build teams, develop business plans, receive funding and produce results.

Before establishing his consulting firm, Robert founded or managed several companies in different industries, including media, retail, and electrical/mechanical engineering. Robert has been gifted with an ability to spot early trends in industries and society and assist in positioning companies/public institutions to take full advantage by ramping quickly to windows of opportunity. Before his entrepreneurial background, Robert graduated with a degree in Public Administration while teaching martial arts and worked in Washington DC as lobbyist and other areas of government services. His multi-disciplinary background in business, government, organizational design, sciences, technology, economics, and consciousness gives him a unique and highly effective approach to assist in dealing with the uncertainties of evolving your enterprise in an environment of accelerating complexity and velocity.

Currently, Robert is addressing the accelerating complexity and velocity while operating in a massively interconnected system that human’s have created.
