R. Wyatt

Author and spoken word artist, "Saymore," was given her pen name by a wise man who said she should go by such because she had "more" to say. Later in life she changed her pen name to the first letter and last name of her birth name, R. Wyatt.

Born in 1984 to a thriving businessman and master gardener, the aspiring performing arts entrepreneur began exploring her passion for writing by joining the school newspaper and then studying literature and earning a Bachelor of Arts in English in her hometown of Portland, OR.

She taught Reading to middle school students before deciding to focus on becoming a full-time author almost a decade later. Saymore OrShutUp (S.O.S.) Productions, produces works that educate and challenge the knowledge and purpose of youth today.
