Lazy Dog

Some dogs sit around and do nothing all day, while others are hyper from when the sun comes up to when it goes back down. I am the lazy kind. But like that lazy dog, I have bursts of energy every now and then. When I think of a great idea or a creative way to put something, my fingers fly across the keys intensely jamming every thought onto the page. Then I sit there, staring at the screen, thinking of what to write next, and hoping my mom screams down to me that dinner is ready. There is nothing a dog likes to hear more than the word dinner being shouted to them. A lot of the time I can get sidetracked. For example, Twitter is my archenemy. It is similar to when a dog is playing catch and can't help but chase the rabbit staring at him. Twitter is the rabbit i so anxiously chase to be free from what I was just doing. One click on the next tab and ten minutes goes by like it was nothing. Aside from the sidetracks and blanking in thought, I can also be smooth. I set goals before each paper, like a dog doing trick in order to get a treat. I think, if I can sit down and write this without any distractions, I can probably catch the new Always Sunny episode. For some reason this can cause unique ideas to rush into my mind much easier. I will do whatever it takes to have a well written paper in front of me in the shortest amount of time possible, just like dogs will sit, jump, and shake hands for that one treat.
