Ryan T. Tarletsky

After graduating from Friends University this last May with a Bachelors Degree in Journalism with a Minor in Graphic Design, I have been working with the Wichita Wingnuts front office. I am currently in charge or creating promotional slides that are then shown on our video board in front of thousands of Wingnuts fans everynight. My position allows me be creative while still keeping a strong brand image with our fans.

Thanks to my Major/Minor I earned at Friends University, I have a talent for sports writing and now a wide variety of other valuable skills. I feel more than confident writing press releases, editing stories and web pages, creating brochures, logos and so much more. My five years of schooling has given me all the tools to create and maintain a strong brand image.

My ultimate career goal is to secure a position that will avail me the opportunity to begin on my chosen career path in baseball. My objective is to secure a position as a play by play broadcasting with a focus in baseball. With the opportunity to learn and grow in the broadcast journalism profession within the broadcast, print, electronic and social medias functions within a baseball organization where I can assist in achieving its goals and objectives by applying my experiences, expertise and personal skill sets.
With my career plans in baseball, I am prepared to play any/or various rolls within an organization where I can make a positive difference.
I believe that my skill sets which include excellent communication skills, time management skills, understanding of sports marketing and my passion to be involved with one of the most respected baseball organizations will prove to be a mutually beneficial opportunity for both an organization and myself.
