Ryan Demers

Ryan Demers was born in Victoria, B.C. on April 15th, 1996. Ryan’s interest in videography began when he enrolled in a communications technology course in high school. He soon received a GoPro camera which he used to take videos of while snowboarding and other recreational sports. When Ryan received his first DSLR Canon camera, he took many photographs of nature. Currently, Ryan enjoys taking portraits in the studio and of night time slow exposure photographs. Ryan Demers is a first year student at Durham College. He currently lives in Oshawa for his schooling. He is taking the two year Digital Video Production Program. Some of his work has been displayed at the Midland Cultural Centre in a display gallery for a high school photography project. Ryan has taken on his assignments with great effort and creativity. After completing over half of the his first semester, he had taken a new approach on his photography. Ryan is now in his second semester working with video and other courses such as social media, concept art and communication for design. Ryan is really enjoying this semester because video editing and shooting video is his passion. He had bought his first professional video camera a few weeks after the semester had begun. Demers is still learning how to use it but so far, he loves using it. He is satisfied with how it performs. When Ryan graduates from Durham College and receives his diploma, he hopes to find a job from the help of his Aunt who is an accountant for a film union based in Toronto City.
