I am currently a Senior Marketing Major with a minor in Digital Marketing at Aurora University (AU). At AU, I have truly tried to set myself apart from my classmates by taking advantage of all the great opportunities the school offers me. After becoming a part of the American Marketing Association Collegiate Chapter at my school, I discovered a passion for giving to the student body. I then stumbled upon a position called Peer Advisor. Through this I was able to discover and practice my leadership abilities. I felt comfortable being able to lead and guide a group of first year college students through the transition from high school to college. Through Peer Advising I was able to share the abundance of opportunities AU provides, helping guide my group of students towards getting involved and also becoming leaders on campus. Following this I found a position with the Activities Programming Board, that gave me the opportunity to use my creativity and event planning skills for the student body. I got the chance to lead other students that wanted to be involved and inspire them to use their own creativity to help plan events. Which is what really helped me to discover my love for creativity and how effective of a tool it can be in life and business, inspiring my blog (Creativity).
