Ryan Council

Ryan Council was born in Brooklyn, New York on September 30th 1989. He is the second oldest of his Mother's five children. Ryan's father was born and raised in Long Island, NY. His mother was born in raised in Saint James, Trinidad. He grew up in a musical home, where R&B, Hip Hop, Soca/Calypso and Dance Music were always blasting through the Speakers. From the age of 12, Ryan realized his passion for Music and the Dramatic Arts. He attended Edward R. Murrow Highschool and pursued a career as an actor and filmmaker. He caught the music bug when helping his buddies (an up and coming New York rap group) put together some songs and music videos. Ryan played around with rapping since he was a kid, but now he decided to really do it. The hardcore gangster rap stuff wasn't his thing– he preferred making dance music, which he enjoyed listening to the most. Ryan Council's musical style can be best described as a fusion of Electronic Dance Music and Pop Rap. He believes in reaching people from all demographics and including them into his world of cheer and gladness through dance music . Ryan is an all around high energy performer who can blow the roof off of any venue you put him in. According to Ryan, "it's all about having a great great time and it's all about putting on a great great SHOW". Ryan Council is an artist with a profound message. That message is love.
