Ryan Dalgleish

Hello, my name is Ryan Dalgleish and I am currently a sophomore at Stockton University in Galloway, New Jersey. I am a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity at Stockton and I am looking forward to joining many other clubs during my time here. I grew up in Middletown, New Jersey and graduated from Middletown High School South in 2019. Coming into school I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted to choose as a career path and so I decided to enroll at Stockton as an undecided student. This allowed me to explore the many different options that Stockton has to offer. I started my Freshman year taking business and writing classes as I thought that I wanted to be involved in the sports world in some way. Sports have always been a passion of mine and something that I follow very closely. Football and Basketball are the two sports I played growing up and they are the two sports that I wanted to stick with whether that was a career in business or journalism and so I continued taking those classes throughout my freshman year. However, during the summer in which I was heading into my sophomore year I was introduced to the idea of looking into becoming an IT or a programmer. After some research, I fell in love with the field. Although, my experience in it was limited, I have always been good with technology and love the idea of becoming a game designer or a web developer. This is why I chose to pursue a degree in computer information systems with a minor in business studies which will allow me to expand my knowledge of computers and programming. I am looking forward to all that this field has to offer and plan on being a sponge to any new information that comes my way. As I grow up I hope to use this degree and become a game developer and hopefully obtain enough money to live in the city and make a lot of investments into both stocks and property.
