Ryan Edwards

Erin and I have been together for about 10 years and we have been married now for almost 8 years. We were married on September 6th 2002. We then moved from her home of Poulsbo, Wa to the East Coast and ended up in Connecticut for about three years. Once we Settled in, We did enjoy cruising up and down the East Coast and having fun in some of Americas Greatest Cities. While in Connecticut I Commissioned The USS Jimmy Carter SSN-23, The worlds most technologically advanced submarine to date. Erin was a medical secretary and a Neurological office in the nearby town of New London. By June of 2005 Erin and I decided that we had enough of the east coast and we packed up our house and all possessions and made the Trek back across the United States back to her and My new home of Poulsbo, Wa. Erin and I then lived apart for 6 months while the USS Jimmy Carter prepared to make an arduous under Ice and inter-fleet transfer form the Atlantic to the Pacific Fleet. After a long six months apart on November 9th 2005 Erin and I were once again reunited and quickly began the ground work on buying our First house and on February 28th of 2006 we closed on our first House. Erin worked at a MRI Clinic out in Poulsbo as secretary since I have arrived out here in Nov of 05. Erin stopped working in October of 2007. Erin did well at her new job with a few raises here and there and quite a few job well done comments by fellow employees. In June of 2006 I was promoted to the rank of a 1st Class Petty Officer (E-6). As many already know I have changed jobs and I am now at Submarine Development Squadron Five in bangor Washington. I achieved Sailor of the quarter for the 4th quarter of 2007 and Sailor of the Year for 2009. I am currently the Information Assurance Manager of Submarine Development Squadron Five. Erin have had a wonderful time with our baby girl Sydney Raechel Edwards and our new baby, Keira. I have just recently completed my Bachelors in Science.
