Ryan Hayen

I love taking on complex problems and creating products & experiences that have the ability to transform how someone interacts with their world. I’m a big fan of the deep dive to understand users’ mental models & uncovering insights that can be harnessed to arrive at meaningful and intuitive solutions.

Over the past few years while managing custom web projects in my current role, I also earned a Masters in Human-Computer-Interaction from DePaul University. I have found the dual experience of being immersed in user-centered design in both an academic and professional setting has enabled me to become an effective advocate for UX among colleagues and clients, but has also allowed me keep the practical needs for a project well within sight.

When I'm not working I'm doing what you see to the right, taking classes at Second City, or checking out some live music. I enjoy being a big brother to three, country drives, and weekends out on the boat.
