Ryan Hevey

Hi Everyone! My name is Ryan, and I am a senior studying Meteorology at Plymouth State University in Plymouth, NH. I love Plymouth State because it is a close-knit community in the mountains of New Hampshire. In May of this year, I plan to obtain my undergraduate degree. I have begun to look for a career both within and outside of my field of Meteorology. Here at Plymouth State, I have also taken extensive programming, GIS, and math courses to help diversify my knowledge.

Outside of school, I love sports and staying active. I like watching just about every sport, but my favorites are basketball and football. I look forward to the Celtics and Patriots season each and every year. I also love going on hikes and enjoying the outdoors in anyway I can. In the winter, that means skiing. I also love being a part of pick-up sports, whether it be basketball, or one of the intramurals here at Plymouth State.

Something I wish I could do more is travel. I absolutely love having the chance to go new places and experience new things. Luckily, just this year I had the opportunity to go to New Orleans for a Meteorology conference, and Daytona Beach for spring break. I would love the opportunity to be able to travel even more this year, and hopefully one day do a cross country road trip.
