Ryan Holmes

I studied Media, Culture and Society at Northumbria University, in Newcastle Upon Tyne focusing on Art, Culture, Film theory. Whilst there I got involved with the student magazine called Large, (http://www.largemanchester.com) which is based in Manchester. I also avoided estate agents, collected World Cup football stickers and watched untold amounts of HBO television and my beloved Newcastle United. Since I finished I have continued my love of writing and worked for the Sunday Sun, Journal and Chronicle in Newcastle Upon-Tyne.

In 2012 I followed on my interest in journalism and interned with the Independent newspaper (www.independent.co.uk) in London and BOMB magazine (www.bombsite.com) in New York and is Content Editor at Interview Fest (www.Interviewfest.com), which is based San Francisco and a position he has held since the start of 2011.

Now living back in the United Kingdom and looking for a job, which will enable him to travel back to New York, and would love to one day be a permenent resident.
