So what do Millennials, Marketers, and Philosophers have in common? They observe, interpret and categorize everything they see. They're always coming up with new (and directly conflicting) theories about how things work. They analyze, they realize and they actualize ideas, and they come up with cool catch-phrases along the way.

You can try to tell a millenial "how to" do something, but chances are they'll go out and find 3 ways to do it better. Add a degree that makes me analyze everything and you get a pretty ideal combo when it comes to problem solving.

I'm also well rounded (or that's what I call it). From construction and landscaping to retail and customer service to market research and small-business consulting, I've done a bit of everything. That means that no matter the project, I'll have something to add. That's why I started my blog on the pursuit of intelligence and life-long learning. Check it out if you want!

As for what I do, I like to call it "you-marketing" (which is exactly how it sounds). It's as simple as taking the thing that makes you 'you' and telling people about it. All the marketing principles for selling products and services apply to skills and experience, we're just marketing ourselves as our products. Any helpful hints I find I share on Twitter and I hope you'll do the same - just use the hashtag #MarketU.
