Ryan Jesena

I capture truth.

This is the playground in which I have chosen to interact with my environment and community. Whether it's taking photographs, writing, or throwing down beats at a party, these are the tools in which I purposely weave my soul into. I find truth in capturing fractions of seconds where no one will be able to see or reproduce ever again.

As a photographer my work has appeared in the Village Voice, Seattle Times, Stanford Magazine, Max Magazine, LAist, and various other online and printed media. I have written a book called, In the Blink of an I, which was published in 2002. As a DJ (with the persona Lushbunny), I performed at Burning Man, Coachella Arts and Music Festival, Philadelphia Experiment Summer Festival, Disorient Compressor, Bass Station, Elysium Festival, and countless venues and festivals from Los Angeles to New York City.

I live in Los Angeles. I enjoy bikram yoga, travellling, getting lost, white rabbits, and the great outdoors.
