Ryan Smith, a 19 year old student attending the University of Georgia died on December 4th, 2012 with the cause of death being unknown.

Ryan was a sophomore at University. He was a hard working student, planning on majoring in the field of dietetics hoping to one day become a dietician.

Born in 1992 into a military family, he was frequently required to move due to his mother's occupation, changing locations a total of 7 times before attending college. In the younger years Ryan led the life of an average boy, attending school, making friends, and playing sports. He found joy in activities such as running, biking, basketball, video games, and occasionally even his school work. His friends and family all spoke positively of him.

During his final semester, Ryan spoke very fondly of his English 1102 class, frequently expressing his pleasure with how much he was learning from the class and how much he had improved his skillset during his time in the class.
