Ryan is an AV-rated attorney in Honolulu, Hawaii in the field of labor and employment law. He provides clients with advice and counsel in all types of employment-related matters and is regularly asked to conduct supervisory and executive training for private companies on employment law issues. His professional experience includes 10 years in private practice, two sessions as a legal consultant to the Hawaii state legislature, and his current role as the Director of Legal and Government Affairs for the Hawaii Employers Council.

Ryan received his J.D., with honors, from UH Law School, where he was a Member and Executive Editor of the Law Review and worked as a Research Assistant for three of his law professors. He received his B.A. from the University of Puget Sound, and is a graduate of Punahou School.
