My work experiences at both law firms and in-house positions have exposed me to diverse areas of law and allowed me to gain experience and expertise in a wide swath of matters. I recently worked as in-house counsel for a multi-hundred million dollar private company and dealt on a day-to-day basis with issues such as creating and reviewing contracts (sales agreements, purchase and sale agreements, real estate leases, licensing agreements, NDAs, MOUs, estoppels, etc.), handling business incorporations, employment and litigation matters, drafting and implementation of corporate policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with government and corporate regulations.

My MBA degree allows me to function well within teams of non-attorneys within the company and present different viewpoints than is typically expected of in-house counsel. It also provides me the flexibility to simultaneously review contracts and other matters with both a business and legal eye, thereby increasing efficiency. In short, I possess the business acumen to understand and contribute to profitability of company.
