Ever since I was a little kid, I have been in love with the ocean. When I got a little older, my family purchased a vacation home on the Chesapeake Bay. This easily became my favorite place on the entire planet. I fell in love with fishing from sunrise to sunset. There would be days where I would catch more fish than I could keep count. There would also be days where I would strike out. No matter if it was the first fish of the day or the last, each catch was equally thrilling. Unfortunately for the Chesapeake Bay and my fishing pleasure, pollution has been killing off many of the fish populations. Everyday I would catch fewer and fewer fish. Fortunately, however, my father has the same desire to fish that I have. Every summer, we take a trip down to Florida to experience some of the best fishing the world has to offer. My whole demeanor changes when I go out and see the aqua blue waters of the Atlantic. This fishing has allowed me the opportunity to explore new places, but also appreciate those places while doing so. Most importantly, it has given me the ability to spend quality time with my father in the middle of my favorite place.
