His career started in 2006 doing customer relations management for a business outsourcing company. In 2013, he assumed a lead role in human resources specializing on leadership development and management communication.

Currently, Ryan manages the Communications Unit under the Consular Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy in the Philippines.
