Rylan Homscheid

Currently pursuing dual undergraduate degrees at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, Rylan Homscheid is an active member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, the largest Greek-letter social college fraternity in North America. He matriculated at Tulane in 2010. From May to December of 2011, Rylan Homscheid simultaneously served as a data-entry specialist at Vertical Search Works (VSW) in New York City. He plans to graduate with his bachelors of arts in sociology and international development in 2015.

Rylan Homscheid’s responsibilities at Vertical Search Works included using VSW Featurelink software to create customized Internet advertisements that were geared to meet the specific wants and needs of individual clients. Working within a special limit of 100 characters, he was forced to find creative ways to describe various products and create customer calls to action. Mr. Homscheid also trained in telephone sales and input information using MS Excel and Access in order to develop streamlined sales leads for the VSW sales division.
