Rachel York

This is my second year as a school counselor at Saxe Gotha Elementary School and I am so excited to be here! I graduated from the University of South Carolina with my Bachelor's Degree in Experimental Psychology and a minor in Counselor Education in 2012. I then went on to Graduate School at the University of South Carolina to obtain my Education Specialist degree in Counselor Education.

I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 2 years and we have a cockapoo named Leo. I love hanging out with family and friends, exercising and watching movies in my spare time!

My job as a school counselor is to be an advocate for the students. I will be working with first and second grade students this year, and will work with these students in a small group setting, individual needs basis, classroom guidance etc. I am looking forward to a great year at Saxe Gotha! :)
