I'm a software engineer living in a small town in rural New Hampshire. Summers are full of fresh air and green as far as the eye can see. Winters are cold and snowy but I don't mind.
Its quite a change from the fast paced life in silicon valley California where I spent over a dozen years working for companies such as Apple, Adobe, Claris and Filemaker writing desktop software for Mac and Windows.
Before that I was in Wisconsin working for companies such as Avid, Elastic Reality and ASDG writing video and special effects software for Mac and Amiga. Remeber the Amiga?
These days I work mostly in the mobile space writing software for Android, iOS and BlackBerry for a variety of clients.
