Sumiah Hamad Alluhaidan was born on December 29, 1990 in Al qassim, Saudi Arabia. She was a happy healthy baby. Her father, Hamad, worked As a teacher in elementary school while her mother, Norah, worked as a teacher too. She grew up her family in small town called Albukairyah. She enjoyed the animals including the horses, and chickens in her dad farm.

Growing up Sumiah Alluhaidan was a bright student who loved languages. Sumiah’s mom was her hero. She always encouraged Her to teach. she started thinking about teaching English ever since her mother began planting the seed in her head. It really helped that she is a teacher also. Sumiah professional goal is to teach English to speakers of the Arabic language. English has always been one of Sumiah favorite subjects. It was later in life that she discovered English was not only fun, but also important for personal and professional development. During high school, she spent countless hours pursuing the task of learning English.

In 2013, Sumiah Alluhaidan completed her bachelor's degree in English from Al Qassim University.

Sumiah was recently a student at ESL of Kent state University in order to prepare for the Masters in TESOL. Before coming to the United States to pursue a Masters degree, she has always dreamed of earning my graduate degree at a major American university and returning to teach English in my country.

In the Summer of 2016, Sumiah Alluhaidan enrolled at Cleveland state university in Ohio as a master student. By joining TESOL program of education collage at Cleveland state university, she believes that she will achieve her goals and she confident that my Master’s studies in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages at Cleveland University will provide me with the necessary ingredients to become an effective teacher.

Purpose and standard

Purpose: Here is my Technology strand ETE 501 E- Portfolio. This ePortfolio for my teacher includes examples of my personal growth as a student in Technology class at Cleveland state university.

Standard: Facilitate and inspire student learning and creativity.Engage students in exploring real world issue and solving authentic problem using digital tools and resources
