Hello, my name is Sarah. I will receive my B.S. in Speech Language Communication Sciences and Disorders from Loma Linda University School of Allied Health in June of 2021. I hope to then purse my master’s degree at Loma Linda University. I am a Red Cross certified lifeguard, as well as being certified in CPR, AED, and First Aid. Since the summer of 2018, I have worked as a swim teacher and Lifeguard at Loma Linda University Drayson Center. Some of my responsibilities include guarding the three pools, performing chemical checks to ensure the safety and cleanliness of the water, spraying the deck, cleaning the guard room, and teaching swim lessons to those from the ages of 3-18 years old. My work as a lifeguard at Drayson Center has taught me valuable lessons about responsibility and accountability, as well as helping me to improve my communication skills with my coworkers, bosses, children, and parents.
