Shauna Dwyer-Vance

Hi, I’m Shauna. I’m a teacher living in St. Thomas, Ontario. I am a grade 5/6 teacher at Port Burwell Public School. My interests are creating a love of literacy and a text-rich environment for my students. Incorporating picture books into my math program to help children transfer understanding across the curriculum is also a focus.

One of the highlights of being part of Professional Development opportunities such as Literacy for Life, Journeys into Literacy, and Math Lead is being given the opportunity to collaborate with my colleagues and share my new learning with staff and students.
