I am Managing Consultant of Hill Coates Associates a UK- based independent executive search and leadership consultancy operating as part of the IMD International Search Group covering 22 countries. We offer executive search, succession planning, management assessment and executive coaching to FTSE, AIM and private equity-backed companies. We place Board, Executive Committee, Management Team, Heads of Function, country managers, Non-Execs and Operating Partners. I regularly coordinate searches in countries other than the UK having taken a brief in the location most convenient to the client before executing though my colleagues across Europe, the Americas and Asia. For relaxation I sing with the Cathedral Singers of Christ Church Oxford, sail yachts as often as I can, shoot as much as possible Sept - Jan (in the company of Griffin, my black labrador). Sometimes we squeeze in some skiiing and to keep fit I do a little white-collar boxing too! I am married to Sally, and we have a 28 year-old son Tim Clifford Hill who is a professional Countertenor based in the choir of Guildford Cathedral. Tim is married to the lovely soprano Alexandra Stevenson. Having been an Army Reservist for over 30 years, I am Chairman of The Rifles Officers London Club in Mayfair.
