I am currently pursuing an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree (EMJMD) in Theoretical Chemistry and Computational Modelling (TCCM) at the University of Valencia, Spain, and Université Toulouse III-Paul Sabatier, France. My research is focused on the computational analysis of azobenzene derivatives and their interactions with proteins to develop innovative light-activated therapies. Previously, I earned a M.S. in Organic Chemistry and B.Sc in Chemistry from the University of Chittagong and conducting research on the synthesis and characterization of glucose-derived compounds.

Professionally, I have gathered extensive experience in both teaching and research. Since December 2020, I have worked as a Senior Research Assistant at the ABCD Laboratory, Bangladesh, contributing to projects in bioinformatics, molecular modelling, and drug discovery. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to share my knowledge as a chemistry lecturer at Bir Shreshtha Noor Mohammad Public Collegein Dhaka and Cambrian Collegein Chittagong, teaching a diverse range of students.

My research interests lie in computational chemistry, bioinformatics, drug design, and organic synthesis. My work has been published in high-impact journals, such as the JBSD, PLOS ONE and Mini-Reviews in Medicinal Chemistry etc.

Combining wet-lab and computational skills, my laboratory expertise encompasses organic synthesis and various analytical techniques, including NMR, IR, UV-Vis spectroscopy. On the computational side, I am proficient in using software such as Gaussian, Orca, Autodock Vina, ChemDraw, Gabedit, GROMACS, YASARA, NAMD, GOLD and VMD, alongside programming in R and Python. For data analysis, I utilize SPSS and Origin Pro and am highly comfortable operating in both Linux (Ubuntu) and Windows environments.

I am honored to have been awarded the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship (2023-2025) and the National Science and Technology (NST) Fellowship (2021-2022) by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Bangladesh, in recognition of my academic and research accomplishments. Furthermore, I received 3rd Prize for my poster presentation at the Golden Jubilee of Chemistry organized by the University of Chittagong.

I am passionate about scientific research and innovation, with a focus on advancing theoretical and computational chemistry as well as drug design. I aim to collaborate on interdisciplinary projects that lead to significant progress in healthcare and medicinal chemistry.
