Sara Vivanco Ibáñez

I’m Sara, a Spanish Environmental Industrial Engineer from Albacete living in Aachen, Germany. I am a fan of technology, energies, gardening and marketing among many other things.

At the moment, I am working as a full-time Product Manager for Checkweighers and Weigh-price Labellers at Minebea Intec where I am responsible of the road to market and maintenance of several inspection products.

I am living in Aachen since October 2015, when I came as an Erasmus student to do my Master Thesis, in which I obtained a mark of 1.0 (highest).

Before that, I spent 6 months working in Dow Chemical, in the project E4Water This stands for: Economically and Ecologically Efficient Water Management in the European Chemical Industry. I worked there in a project of mild-desalination of brackish effluents coming from the chemical industry for further reuse, and I learnt how to carry out a project in a multicultural environment and work along people from different hierarchies.

I was also involved for 5 years in event organizarion of different projects such as Domaining Europe, NamesCon Europe and Brands and Domains, where I collaborated in marketing tasks. I also run together with a friend the Happy-camel.de online shop and several social media profiles: @corral_rubio and Lagunas de Corral Rubio (Facebook).

I worked for two years at TEMA Technologie Marketing A.G. where I was involved in several international fairs for Koelnmesse and different projects from USA. (gamescom, spoga+gafa, imm, International Manufacturing Technology Show, Conexpo, International Builders' Show, Certified Senders' Alliance, BACnet...)
