An experienced business focused IT professional with extensive international expertise, I have provided first class leadership and management expertise across a number of senior roles in both the commercial and public sectors.

An evangelist for the adoption of Social Business, I have recently established a consultancy practice to help organisations adopt Social Business. In July 2011, I was announced as one of only 50 Global IBM Collaboration Champion's: http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/lotus/champions/ - re-elected in Dec 2012.

I recently spent time in Africa leading discussions on the business value of Social Business to organisations and I am currently helping a number of organisations adopt Social Software. I have developed an innovative adoption, training and mentorship program which ensures a business gain maximum return from their investment in Social Software.

I have presented at a number of conferences - Impact 2008 / 09/ 10, Lotusphere 2012, Connect13. I am a organiser of Social Connections (the global IBM Connections User group) and in 2013 I am chair of the IBM Collaboration Solutions UK customer council.

At Cardiff University, I was Programme Director for a business led digital transformation project, where I developed partnerships with key vendors to ensure that a multi-million pound initiative was delivered on time and to budget.

Prior to this, I was Global IT Services Director for a Global manufacturing org (Chicago based) and managed the systems / infrastructure across USA and Europe (3 data centers delivering SAP/R3, ASI, Oracle based ERP and Exchange based e-mail) and the implementation of a group ERP system.

I also spent over 10 years in IT management roles at Sony. During this time, I was responsible for the design, development and support of a bespoke MRP system and then project managing the implementation of Oracle Financial and Manufacturing.
