Hey there!

I’m Sophie and I’m a student studying business and arts management in IADT, Ireland.

I currently work in a wine bar called Whelehan's Wines as a barista and server. I have learned a lot from working here and now my palette is well educated on wines as well as coffee. This has caused me to develop a huge interest in wine and I am eager to keep improving my knowledge on it. To think I used to drink the €4 bottle of wine from Lidl just 2 years ago is still a shock to me.

Aside from learning about wines, I also have a huge interest in advertising. I've recently discovered two creative agencies here in Ireland- Bloom Advertising and BBDO- that I find immensely interesting. My big desire in life is to end up working in a creative agency or an advertising firm. I like the idea of looking at a product and thinking on new and exciting ways to present that product to make people want to buy it. Certain adverts (the best adverts in my opinion) are ones that make you feel something. The list below are my top 5 favorite examples:
