Stephen Widzinski

I am a digital media professional preparing to graduate from Michigan State University in the spring. Over the past four years I have enjoyed the best of both worlds, applying my craft of choice to promote my greatest passion: wrestling.

Starting in 2010, I began covering high school wrestling statewide for michigangrappler.com, an established and popular site throughout Michigan. In the years to follow I was promoted from to high school analyst to site editor, assuming primary control of the site and subsequently taking it to new heights.

Thanks to the success of Michigan Grappler, in early 2014 our backers agreed to fund a national publication known as the Associated Wrestling Press. In addition to my Michigan Grappler duties, I now serve as the AWP's co-editor and high school analyst. Already the site has carved out a significant niche in the national wrestling community, and as we move forward I am steadfast in my determination to build it into the country's premier source of amateur wrestling media.
