Sergio A. Huerta

SergioA. Huerta is a second year marketing student at the Rawls College of BusinessAdministration at Texas Tech University. Sergio is currently pursuing theGlobal Supply Chain Management concentration. Diversity and adaptability arethe two main tools that Sergio has been using since he started his student career.Living in 5 different regions within 3 cities and 2 countries in the last 5years can sound like a hard task for a young adult, but Sergio took advantageof these nomadic experiences in order to learn the outcomes of adapting todifferent cultures and used this concept as the perfect tool for networking.Finally settled down in Lubbock, Texas until graduation, Sergio expects to workevery summer and graduate a semester earlier than expected. He has held 3leadership/officer positions within 3 different organizations since he was afreshman, being the Fundraising Directorfor the Association for Latin Professionals in Finance and Accounting(2013-2014); the Marketing Chair for the American Production and Inventory Control Society(2014); and the Public Relations Chair for the Hispanic Student Society (2014 –Present); Sergio’s professional experiencesinclude warehouse associate, marketing intern, and import/export managerassistant in one of the most successful supply chain businesses in Mexico. Sergiois a visionary with a very important goal: get better every day. Sergio is avery enthusiastic student who thinks that luck is when preparation meetsopportunity, and optimism is the key to find new paths and solutions. Sergio iscurrently looking for internships, and activities that will help him improvehis knowledge and experiences in the business professional field.
