My background includes work and studies as a Ph.D. in civil engineering (geotechnical and geological engineering) with a lot of experience in numerical modeling and GIS processing. I have worked for more than forty months as a researcher and Geotechnical and geological engineer in Germany. Recently, I had a short collaboration (for 8 months) with ITASCA Consultants GmbH. Before that, I worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel, Germany. In addition, I have been fortunate enough to serve as an Associate Professor, two Postdoctoral research positions, and Vice-chairman of the Alamtab engineering consulting company in more than 20 international projects and 50 national projects with 50 publications in international journals and conferences. Most of my activities have been in industry and academia in geotechnical and geological engineering projects.
