Saarthak Saxena

Hello everyone! I'm Saarthak, as you can see. I'm the dashingly handsome guy in that photo on the side, representing DPRK at THIMUN Qatar 2014.

I attend the American Community School in Abu Dhabi, and it's where I first became involved in Model United Nations in September, 2011. I went to the inaugural THIMUN Qatar as the delegate of the United States to the Security Council, and I haven't looked back since.

Since THIMUN Q 2011, I've gone on to be the delegate of Hungary in the Disarmament Commission at BEIMUN 2012, the delegate of Morocco in the Disarmament Commission at THIMUN Q 2013, the delegate of DPRKorea at THIMUN Q 2014, and, finally, at the pinnacle of my MUN career, one of the advocates for Japan in the ICJ at DIAMUN 2014, but it's my interaction with O-MUN that has really pulled me into the MUN world.

The camaraderie and friendship at O-MUN, as well as the intelligent and thought-provoking discussion, are what make this experience so gratifying for me, and are what keep me coming back, day after day. I'm looking forward to working with you soon!
