When I was 11 my dad bought me my first camera for our first trip overseas together. This encouragement I received from my dad to express myself creatively inspired me to take photographs not only when I travel but also at home. I find inspiration in natural phenomenon, I take photographs of a scene in many different ways imagining that there is a narrative behind this moment I am capturing. The best photo, for me, is the one that best portrays this story I have imagined. As a natural scientist my life has taken me to many different places and I have always lived my life by the beach, the marine environment is a source of creative inspiration for me. I enjoy photographing natural and manmade occurrences including seascapes, landscapes, wildlife, human interaction and cityscapes.
