Sabrina Castaneda

I love the waves, but I hate the sand. I am a city gal, but I escape into the wilderness. I am an introvert at heart, but I love being surrounded by people. I love being alone, but I'm afraid of the utter silence. I'm not creative, but I love to create. I hate drama, but I somehow make my life seem more dramatic. I love comedy, but no one understands my jokes. I love to win, but I hate to compete. I am a night owl, but I live in an early-bird world. I doubt my own ability sometimes, but I am on the right track and successful, nonetheless. I can easily tell you that I am a cat-loving, indie music-listening, environmentalist who believes in pacifism, modern art, and animal equality, but that is a list and a run-on sentence and I will not let me be defined by just a few short words. I act like I know who I am, but truly, I am still finding out. I am a free-spirit, but I am confined by my own system of "checks and balances". I am excited to get away this Fall and study my dream major at my dream school: Animal Science at UCD, with a double minor in both Spanish and Psychology; but still a little nervous of what the future holds.
