Sabra Young
Fort Worth, Texas
From an early age Sabra had a creative & wild imagination. She won her first writing award in fifth grade and while other girls were busy playing dolls and dress up Sabra was building tent compounds out of sheets in her bedroom role playing and living out a story.
Sabra spent seven years as a school teacher and wrote and implemented the St. Louis after school curriculum; she was honored by her peers as one of the "Top Ten" Women of Missouri. Upon moving back to Texas Sabra was introduced to video production and the rest they say is history. Her ability to write, organize and turn a clients vision into reality quickly made her a great match for filmmaking.
In 16 years Sabra has produced numerous industrials, commercials, feature films and her directorial debut DIRTY LAUNDRY (short film) which she also wrote, received great critic reviews at TEXFEST and won Sabra a Gold Remi Award at WorldFest Houston International Film Festival. She currently is the Creator/Executive Producer for two TV pilots in pre-production and working on a series for Home Box Office Network. She's an active volunteer for local charities and organizations and lives with her blue heeler named Zoey.
