Sacramento Harley
Sacramento, CA
Since its 1919 launch, Sacramento Harley-Davidson has been owned and operated by four different families. It is currently counted as one of the country's oldest dealerships. Originally started as an agency by Frank J. Murray, Sacramento Harley-Davidson went on to become the city's first authorized Harley-Davidson dealership.
In 1992, current owner Jay Westbrook became partners with then owner Mike Shattuck. Both men worked as district managers for Harley in the years leading up to purchasing the Sacramento dealership. The co-owners pooled their enthusiasm and knowledge of motorcycles to build their business over the next 10 years. During that period, they completely renovated the inside of the dealership and built an adjoining service center with 11 technicians and a machine shop. For their efforts, they were recognized with the esteemed Harley-Davidson Motor Company New Retail Environment Award for Dealer of the Year. Following this triumph, Jay Westbrook purchased Sacramento Harley and became the dealership's exclusive owner in 2002.
Today, the motorcycle dealership serves several other towns in Northern California as well, including Stockton, Folsom, Rocklin, Woodland, North Highland, Granite Bay, Arden-Arcade, and Vacaville. The showroom is conveniently open seven days a week and the service center is open Tuesday through Saturday. On the company's website, www.hdsac.com, customers can easily request a service appointment, order parts, or schedule a test drive. Sacramento Harley also offers a Rider Rewards Program, which allots points each time a customer makes a purchase. Customers can then apply their points toward future purchases, such as parts, merchandise, accessories, and even service. This is just one of the many ways that Sacramento Harley thanks its loyal clientele base and retains its reputation as one of the best in the business.
